*coughs*  Well.  Here it is, time is here.  Tomorrow, June 16th I leave for Israel. =3!!  I'll be getting up around 4:00 and leaving at 4:30 to head for the Sacramento airport to head down to LA.  From LA we're jumping to Newark and from Newark to Tel Aviv.  We'll be arriving in Tel Aviv around 5:00 pm June 17th, local time (about 8:00 am June 17th Pacific time).

I should have internet access at a few of the hotels we stay at and if that's true then I'll post at the end of each day I can until I come home. =3  So....wish me safe travels!  *enthusiastic wave*  I'll miss you guys!!!

Ai ya!  This was just one of those mornings.

Me: *laying in bed....awake.....tossing and turning......alarm will be going off any minute now.....any minute.....any minute.....any.....minute......cracks eyes open to see that it’s starting to get light out....frowns.....*  Wait a minute... *looks at phone, which also serves as alarm....it’s....nearly half an hour /after/ I normally get up*  Aw crap!

And you know...go figure that as soon as I get my phone “woken up” so I can see the screen and the time....it like....beeps at me that it’s charging...and the alarm finally goes off. O,o?  All things considered I managed to get out of there on time and to work no problem.

Anyway!  The real reasons for this post.  *sheeps that she didn’t post this sooner*  First thing’s first...I’m go for the endoscopic sinus surgery! I saw the allergy doctor on Monday, and all of the tests they did came back negative.  I was expecting that, and...come to find out....so was the allergy doctor.  He said that about 20% of patients sent to him from the surgeon’s office....actually have /allergies/ as their main problem, the other 80%...well...  He still thinks that I may have some allergy related things going on.  He said there are certain cells in our bodies that, when triggered, basically react with an....allergic reaction.  Eosinophils I think he called them, or something close anyway.  They’re not sure /what/ triggers them, be it a bacteria or a fungus, but...he’s pretty certain that something triggered them in me, and 95% of the time that trigger is a fungus.  9,9;; I ended up with the visual of athletes foot growing inside my face only for him to speak the same visual a few moments later with an apology for such a mental image.  I don’t apologize...I must share the ick. >,o....  In any case, if it is a fungus that needs to be treated...the only way to be sure is to get some samples of the stuff way deep in there....which is most easily gotten through surgery. =D

So, at that moment, I’m scheduled for surgery on June 3rd.  I’ve asked for a sooner date, but the surgeon’s schedule is full, so he said he’ll contact me if anything opens up, which I doubt.  So yeah...June 3rd...Is it sad that I’m so excited about having surgery? =2....I know this isn’t going to be a pleasant experience, and I still may end up on treatments afterwards, but....still... *is looking forward to this, regardless*

And my other reason for this post.  It’s official.  I’M GOING TO ISRAEL!!  *spazzflail*  You know, most kids have different “dreams” while growing up, things they’d really like to do or be and then they grow up and their interests change.  I have to admit that even mine did.  I wanted to be a veterinarian at one point, maybe even a doctor or a paramedic....but I grew out of it, and found my love of writing and art.  But one thing I didn’t grow out of was my thirst for traveling, my /want/ to “see the world”.  I’ve been saying that I want to “see the world” for as long as I can remember, and every time I get to travel to a new place outside of the US, I’m just /ecstatic/, ‘cause it’s one more place that I get to see. ~<3  So it’s official, it’s paid for, and I’m going. *does a happy dance*  Trip dates are June 16th – 26th.   Heh....I’m not gonna be at work much in June. XD;;  And vacation time has added up perfectly too, not just for this, but the surgery too.  Not counting any /possible/ furlough days I might have, when surgery is done and trip over I’ll have 2 ½ hours of vacation left. =D;;

My /only/....”problem” with this, is that it postpones my moving to GA.  Dunno by how long, and that bothers me, but...  This does NOT change that I’m moving out there, just pushes the “when” out....again. >,’<  *sighs*  The only thing that makes me feel okay about this is that I talked to Dragon before paying for the trip (she’s the one I’ll be moving in with when I move out there. =3), and she knows what my going very likely means about my moving, and she’s encouraged me to go for it since “seeing the world” has always been such a big dream for me. =3  *HUGS her adoptive sister*

Woo...so there it is. =3  *can’t wait for June...9,9;;;;*
