Canon: Transformers: Prime
Game: None currently. Formerly at The Wake, Cyberformed, and Kismet Loop
Activity: Active
Notes: Generally taken from near the end of Operation Breakdown.
About: He can be an ass when he wants, he likes to fight, but can also be a bit of a teddy bear. He's big, strong, and can be surprisingly gentle. He's also a nurse.

Name: Chappie
Journal: [personal profile] streetwiseprofessor
Canon: Chappie
Game: None

About: He's a sweet baby bot with a bad mouth and has been taught that people like to be stabbed. Oops.

Name: Grimlock
Journal: [personal profile] start_punchin
Canon: Transformers: Robots in Disguise 2015
Game: None
Activity: Inactive
Notes: None yet
About: He loves fighting. He's a happy dork when he can punch someone in a fight. He's a good guy, even if he did start as a Decepticon. He's often seen with a big, dumb grin on his face.

Name: Irja
Journal: [personal profile] the_earth_laughs
Canon: OC
Game: Kismet Loop
Activity: Inactive
Notes: NPC in Kismet Loop.
About: She's bubbly and happy. This little earth fae loves nature of all kinds. She bubbly attitude can be a bit much at times, but she's sincere in her desire to help others.

Name: Jendayi
Journal: [personal profile] mercury_gaze
Canon: OC
Game: None currently. Formerly at The Wake and Kismet Loop
Activity: Active
Notes: Was an Angelii in The Wake.
About: She's a sweet child who just wants to make friends with everyone.

Name: Kagerou
Journal: [personal profile] ninjabirb
Canon: Brave Police: J-Decker
Game: None
Activity: Active
Notes: Ninja too cool for this world.
About: Unfortunately the only time we see him in canon, he's angry and scared, which is no way to meet anyone, and when he finally is talked down he's captured and pretty much killed in a rather horrible way.  I like to think, as the prototype for Shadowmaru, that he wasn't just the test for Maru's forms, he's the "big brother" Maru always tries to emulate.  Usually cool and calm, but friendly to those he interacts with, though when backed into a corner he proves how young he is by lashing out at others.  He's a good bot and would have made one hell of an addition to the Brave Police had he been allowed to.

Name: Mitham
Journal: [personal profile] keepastrnghrt
Canon: OC
Game: None
Activity: Inactive
Notes: Previously in The Wake.
About: Punk kid with a good heart once you get past the impulsive kleptomania.

Name: Naijah DeTrilan
Journal: [personal profile] grin_n_jump4it
Canon: OC
Game: The Wake
Activity: Active
Notes: None yet.
About: All around nice guy, smiles a lot and is the type people will either find annoyingly optimistic, or refreshingly encouraging. He always finds the brighter side to things. He's also a crazy parkour idiot, and does enjoy showing off if he knows he's got an audience.

Name: Rung
Journal: [personal profile] whatshisname
Canon: Transformers (IDW)
Game: The Wake and Savrou
Activity: Active
Notes: It's Rung...like on a ladder.
About: Doesn't actually read minds, though you may question that if you ever end up in a therapy session with this stick bot doctor.  He's a good person, genuinely cares for his patients, and frankly that's a GOOD THING, because he's be flipping scary if he ever decided to be evil.  Seriously, you don't want a bad guy who can so easily read people, okay?

Name: Shadowmaru
Journal: [personal profile] totally_a_wolf
Canon: Brave Police: J-Decker
Game: None
Activity: Inactive
Notes: Ninja brother just trying to be as cool as his lost brother.
About: He's a cool ninja and one of the Brave Police.  He's most often used for "black ops" sort of missions and while he does work with the rest of the team, he is often sent off on his own and can't even share details with the other Brave Police.  It's lonely work, too bad he doesn't have a fellow ninja to do missions with.

Name: Sirrah
Journal: [personal profile] not_a_ghost
Canon: OC
Game: Kismet Loop
Activity: Active
Notes: NPC in Kismet Loop
About: Sassy and observant.  She doesn't like answering stupid questions.  Oh...and she's not a ghost, that would imply she's not alive anymore and she very much is.

Name: Sissel
Journal: [personal profile] tricky_ghost
Canon: Ghost Trick
Game: None
Activity: Inactive
Notes: Taken from mid-game
About: A lost spirit trying to regain his memories.  He really is a good guy, if a bit selfish (and understandably so, considering he only has a short time to find his own answers).

Name: Subzero
Journal: [personal profile] greater_than_zero
Canon: Fandom OC
Game: Kismet Loop and Cyberformed (NPC)
Activity: Active
Notes: Transformers fandom OC. Pre-war, has absolutely no associations with canon characters. Slight exception of Cyberformed.  He's from during the war but is a Neutral who hired a crew for an unaffiliated rescue vessel.
About: Scientist, inventor, and a bit of a vigilante in his early years.  He's just trying to put some old mistakes behind him and make up for them by helping others.

Name: Wing
Journal: [personal profile] knight_light
Canon: Transformers (IDW)
Game: The Wake, Cyberformed, and Kismet Loop
Activity: Active
Notes: None
About: Idealist, asshole (when he needs to be), rebel, and all around great guy.  He just wants to see a better place for his brethren.

Well hello everyone. Figured I'd knock out a couple things all at once.

First, and most important HAPPY BIRTHDAY [personal profile] lucidscreamer!!!!!! ~<3

Second, been getting moved into a new house. Moved in Christmas Eve, and have gotten nicely settled. Still got a few things that need doing, but mostly decorative stuffs. It's a nice place in a nice little neighborhood. Maybe in the next few weeks I'll finally get my act together and do a picture/video walkthrough and show off a little. =3

And last....my mom is a wimp. XD  Got up this morning and was chasing my dog out the doggie door (it's wet and cold, she doesn't like wet and cold and would much rather find a place in the house to squat, even if it means being in trouble. ~,~), only to spot an upside down cup and a note on the floor.  Hard to miss it, it's so...out of place.  So I go over and lean down attempting to read the note without my glasses on.  It reads:
"Please put the frog outside.  I'm a wimp. :)"

Sure enough, I pick up the cup and there's a rather good sized, small frog under the small plastic cup.  I snicker, pick up the frog and take it outside.  I then had to go back and see my mom.  I peek around the corner at her and just said "wimp".  That got her laughing and we had a good little chat about it.  She's kind of baffled because we no longer have cats (couldn't bring them with us. ;~; ) and so she has no idea how a frog got in the house.

And that's it for now.  *sighs* Sometimes I wonder why I have this journal, I'm not usually inclined to update it, but here it is.  *crawls back under her rock*

guardianlunnaei: (Not Impressed...)
The drive to work this morning was...not one I ever want to repeat.  This was a morning of close calls from idiot drivers, missing exits because jerks wouldn't let us over, and...one not so lucky pedestrian.  From the way he was lying in the street I highly doubt he was still alive.

The images, though...  items flung across two lanes and into the center lane, cars stopped in odd places, a body in the street, peoples idiotically driving into oncoming traffic to go around the carnage so they'd not be late for work....  It was still so dark out too, not even 6:30 in the morning.

I feel callous for putting it like this, but...the fool was crossing in a place where there was no crosswalk, and no street lights, wearing dark clothes.  I feel bad for him, especially if he did survive.  But I especially feel bad for the driver that hit him.  I don't know how well or not I'd handle a situation like that.  Considering how I bawled when I accidentally gave a friend stitches (seriously, I cried more than she did and she only cried when she realized blood was flowing down her face. >,<) I'd probably be in hysterics if I killed someone like that, not to mention the stress from the surprise of it happening in the first place.  I'd hope I'd have enough presence of mind to stop and call 911 like you're supposed to.  *sigh*

Mom and I both agreed that after that adventurous morning a boring, uneventful day sounded like a really good thing.  So far, that's exactly what it's been, and I'd like it to stay that way.
guardianlunnaei: (Default)
If there is one person or more on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.

Because it's so true. *luffs you all*
guardianlunnaei: (Geez. I don't speak idiot.)
Ugh! Okay, I think I finally need to kind of "vent" about things.

Today, has been one of those days that everything just seems to go wrong. ...And it's not even 10:00 yet.

First, I bought new jeans, they arrived yesterday. This is great! I was in desperate need, considering my old jeans are to the point of threadbare in that spot where my thighs rub (yes, I'm fat). I'd already thrown out a pair, and have been rather self-conscious of the conspicuous spots that is very easily seen if I'm not careful with how I sit. So I was ecstatic to get new jeans.

Got about halfway to work this morning when I realized I had put on my old jeans....which meant I'd tossed a pair of new jeans in the garbage last night. ...Shit! So I call my mom, she was getting up about then anyways, and asked her to check the trash.

...Dad had taken the trash out last night. TT~TT Double shit! She promised to have him go dumpster diving (literally, we pile our garbage in a dumpster, no piddly little cans by the curb for us) when he got up.

This part of the tale has a happy ending, though. Mom found my second pair of new jeans. I'd not actually thrown any jeans in the garbage. Woo! Dad doesn't have to go dumpster diving, and I just have to be careful how I sit until tonight. I can deal with that for one more day.

I get to work, early like always, and sit to read. One of the Auditors is here early and already to work. She notes that the toner in the printer needs to be changed before it'll print anything else. Since I seem to be the only one that knows how to do these things I went ahead and got up to do this.

Of course....I manage to spill toner. Thankfully it's not much, but it's likely on me, and has given me a mild chest-ache and headache. Not bad, but still annoying for trying to get work done. Still waiting for someone to come clean that up, considering that toner spills are considered bio-hazards, though I guess one this small isn't something they worry about.

And somehow it's now 10:00 and I've been sent running here and there and everywhere and haven't gotten anything done...not that there's much to do. I hate days when there's hardly any work to do. *whinebitchmoancomplain*

Okay, I'm done. Just thought I'd share, since it's been forever since I've posted anything real. *crawls back under her rock and gets back to work.*

I'd have to say Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn.  The world, the magic, the people are so unique as far as fantasy genre goes.  It's refreshing to find something truly unique in the fantasy world and this is it.  I think it would be amazing to send character sailing over buildings as their burned the correct metals, having to play spy at parties, and so much more.  I'd not say this about many books, while I love so many I don't think they'd translate well into a game, but I think Mistborn would.

Heh, my user name stems from an original creation of mine.  "Guardian" is the title of a person that helps out this certain race of creatures in the world I'd created for the books I want to write.

And Lunnaei was a name, well....I snag names from all over the place, so Lunnaei was actually seen first on Neopets in the art gallery.  She's kind of become my avatar, and was originally the "Guardian" in said stories.

So...guardianlunnaei.  And no, I don't think I'd change it.  I've had "Guardian" something or other forever now, and so many people know me as Lunnaei now, so...it's stuck. XD
guardianlunnaei: (You did WHAT?!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY [livejournal.com profile] cypsiman2 !!!!!

Heard on the radio this morning that tonight there is going to be a total lunar eclipse! Come about 10:30p.m. Pacific time it'll start, and will last for about an hour and a half. Hopefully the clouds will clear up enough for me to take a peek before bed. Supposedly the moon is supposed to be orange for the event. =3

I wanna see. XD

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Friday I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In October I pulled [livejournal.com profile] destnys_overr8d's hair (-5 points). Last week I turned [livejournal.com profile] cypsiman2 in for eating carbs (3 points). Last Wednesday I helped [livejournal.com profile] puzzlemasters hide a body (-173 points). Last Tuesday I ruled Canada as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-549 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Sincerely,
guardianlunnaei

Write your letter to Santa! Enter your LJ username:

I have to say now. Hellboy, I'm sorry for pulling your hair, and....Yami...Yugi? Who the heck did you kill?! AND WHY?!?!
And...is there a Disneyland in Canada? My first act of ruler must be to go to Disneyland/world/etc. *At least I didn't turn the world's oceans into orange J-ELLO like some of my friends. =D;;*
guardianlunnaei: (Eh?)
Woo!!  Thank GOD for vacations!

I'd gotten to the point of seriously stressed, where everyday I found myself wanting to wring someone's neck for any number of large or small (usually small) reasons.  So it was definitely time for a vacation.

Went to seem my sister and family in Houston for a week to have an early Christmas.  We mostly decided on now since going at Christmas would have cost about $200 more each way which would have mean not money for gifts.  We had a great time, though.

Spent time shopping, spent time just hanging out.  Got to help my nephews finish up a history project.  They mummified a chicken using methods as close to the ancient Egyptian methods as possible.  It was time to wrap the body/chicken about three days into my stay out there. X3  We also made frosting Christmas tress out of upside down ice cream cones, covered in homemade frosting and sprinkles for ornaments. XD  Talk about a sugar high!  Frosting Tree + Mexican Hot Chocolate = belly ache and sugar high. 9,9;;

All-in-all it was a great time.  Relaxing, and just what I needed before returning to work.

Had a, um...adventure in our attempt to get home, though.  Got tot he airport in Houston, got on our plane.  They had announced they would be closing the doors in a few minutes when someone decided he needed off the plane...NOW.  There were all kinds of things said about the guy.  Suspicious, definitely Arab, spoke little English....apparently his story was that a friend of his had gotten in an accident and he had decided to stay and go see his friend at the hospital instead of heading out/home/whatever.  He just vanished, though, didn't even wait for them to get his bags off the plane.  On the one hand, if his story was true, I can understand the rush, on the other hand....*shrugs*

So a few minutes later another suspicious looking guy gets off the plane.  Hmmm.  I think some people panicked, because about five minutes later, when we'd still not taken off, about six more people decided they weren't staying.  They got off the plane and left too.

At this point they decided it was better to be safe than sorry and so we were all moved off of the plane for TSA to come in and do a sweep of the plane with dogs and all their testing equipment.  By the time they let us back on the plane it had been over two and a half hours from the time out plane was supposed to take off.  We were...definitely leaving late. ^,^;;

We got into LA just as our next flight was scheduled to take off.  We were informed they were holding the plane and we needed to hurry to the next gate (which of course is on the other side of the airport, right?).  We got on and headed home to Sacramento.  Amazingly we only got home about fifteen minutes late!  Not bad for a nearly two and a half hour delay. =D  And no one hurt, so even better. =3

Aaaaanyway, back to work for me. X3
guardianlunnaei: (Amused)
Okay, first a little set up.  I've started a musebox rp with a few friends that decided they were interested, dropping a few of the G1 Cybertronians into my medieval/fantasy world of Reirinsei.  [livejournal.com profile] dragondancer515 is playing Wheeljack, [livejournal.com profile] yellow_ideya is playing Ratchet, and [livejournal.com profile] elycien_xiii is playing Thundercracker.  Now, anyone that's rp'd with me at all knows that I LOVE putting characters in new and strange, frightening and dangerous situations and seeing how they handle it. XD  So, most recently I've turned these three giant robots into Humans. X3  So far these three are living with my werewolf Amin named Terris, a young elf lady named Jerrica and four children, Jerrin his little sister Kendra, Mitham and Jendayi.

On my drive home from work I asked Dragon if it was sad that I was looking forward to seeing the three guys really sick for the first time.  All come down with the flu or something, high fever, body aches, overall miserable and brainless.  That actually got us both snickering over who would be the biggest baby through all of it.  We've concluded that it'd be the "though guy" and the "doctor" likely.

I can see it now.  TC is a miserable wreck, the only reason he's not moaning and whimpering is because he doesn't want to seem weak, but he's really not taking it well.  Ratchet's grumpy and growling because he hurts and feels like crap.  And it doesn't help either of them that they both have a little girl sitting by their head petting at them to try to make them feel better (Kendra petting Ratchet and Jendayi petting Thundercracker).  Meanwhile Wheeljack is up and trying to help Terris get medicine fixed up for everyone, and Terris is trying to get him to sit down and rest.

The following came to mind about then.

Terris: Wheeljack, go lay down.
Wj: *nods and yet ends up stopping to help with something else really quick*
Terris: *sighs, that's the fifth time WJ has avoided going over and resting*  *gets up, takes hold of WJ and guides him over to the bed* Boys? Will you come here, I need a favor from you two.
*Jerrin and Mitham come over, eager to help.*
Terris: *Gets WJ laying down and directs the children to sit on him*
WJ: *squawks!* Wha-!?  No, wait!
Boys: *happily sit on him* XD
WJ: *pout*
Girls: *observing the boys sitting on WJ, they grin/giggle and shift to sit on Ratch/TC too*
*moans and grumbles from all as children giggle and Terris finally goes to finish making them all a dose of meds*

*/end random* Thought I'd share. X3

You know, being wanted is a really, really good feeling.  I know we all know that, but it's nice to have it affirmed from time to time.

I had an interview today with Internal Audits.  Across and down the hall from where I am now, I'll talked with the manager of the office in the hall a few times, our Personnel manger/contact put in a good word for me over there, and let me just say he is one of those guys that never has anything good to say about someone, or if he does he doesn't often say it.

Well, I got through the interview fine.  And, I wish I knew why I can be so calm and laid back in one interview and panicking in the next? >,o  If I don't come out shaking after an interview it's a miracle.   But what's really exciting is that, unless Personnel says it's just not possible OR someone interviews better than I did (and she said that I interviewed really, really well) they're merely going through the process because they must, but they want me. XD  That's just kind of exciting.  Either way, I was told she'd let me know before anyone else whether they can offer me the position or must look elsewhere.

*does a happy dance.......and slinks off to go back to bed.  Argh...interviewing when sick is not fun, even if I did do well*
guardianlunnaei: (*heart*)
And so I'm getting this up before bed because it'll be later afternoon when I get home, at the earliest.

So....

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] myaibou !!!
guardianlunnaei: (Geez. I don't speak idiot.)
For the icon, that is.

*faceplams*  OI!  The morning was great, really, just fine.  Was working, went out for the routine walk with my mom and Dragon on speaker phone with us, got back in time for a meeting and....kind of got some questions answered. (Got some cost reports that the auditor that looks into "fixing" things wrong keeps letting things slide rather than fixing them...like no signatures...pages missing....faxed in or emailed from an email that hasn't been approved...these are all no-no's as far as I know, and yet....*~sighs*  Anyway, all on the same page now, I think...hope.)  I even got to bail out of the meeting early because the rest of the time they'd be talking about stuff that I don't do so I'd just be sitting there bored.  (And I was good and didn't have a doughnut.)

So then I'm back at my desk and find myself thinking "Oh, must be getting close to time to go. =3" ....Okay to look at the clock and it's 5 minutes to lunch time. *headdesk*  Shortly after noticing that I knock over a cup of orange juice (served at the meeting) all over my desk, which is currently covered in important papers and mail. ~,~  Thankfully it got on NOTHING but my water bottle and stapler (not the electric one).

So get that cleaned up and go stick my frozen meal in the microwave.  Well...that's been sitting in the freezer since Wednesday, and it's a cardboard container rather than a plastic one, and well...our office freezer smells like something crawled in it and died, and, despite the sub-zero temperatures, started to decay.  My food tasted like this too.  Got down maybe five bites and threw it away and had a granola bar for "lunch" instead. 9,9;;  May just treat myself to a sushi roll or something when I leave here, just to make my afternoon better and to tide me over until dinner.
guardianlunnaei: (Fear the cute!)
What a week. 9,9;;

Work has been crazy (it's approaching the time year again where I have 8-10 stack of mail as tall as I am...I'm 5'4"...and no, I'm not exaggerating. At all...).  Of course, not only do I have the usual mail and cost reports, but I've got a load of other duties that I'm covering for because we're short a person...still...  Someone was supposed to be hired, but they've not started yet, dunno the details of why.  But meh.

Keeping up on tags, and...a little behind on NaNo.  This Wednesday and next are the last two in an eight week support group/class for weight lost (12 pounds and 3 inches WOO!!)  So...met my goal Monday, STRUGGLED but met it Tuesday (I'm so out of practice with fight scenes T~T;;), didn't touch it at all Wednesday, and...didn't /quite/ make up for that today.  So total goal thus far is 4000 words, I stopped writing this evening at 3440. =3  Not bad in any case. =3

Anyway...SO time for bed.  *YAWNS*
