What a drive. >,o
Dec. 12th, 2008 07:37 amMom warned me that it was really foggy outside when she left this morning...but I didn't know how foggy until I stepped out the front door. My car sits across the yard and across a driving area (we've got one of those circular driveways so you can easily turn around to get back on the road), it's maybe...50 feet from the door or so....I could barely see it. >,<
So as I start driving to work...there were areas that I don't think I could see more than 20-30 feet in front of me. Especially out around my house. We live in the middle of nowhere essentially, lots of fields and stuff. So if it gets windy...it's really windy out there....and if there's going to be any fog at all, it'll start out there. So once I got away from that area it was okay, but even on the freeway the fog was thick enough that I could barely make out the exit signs. >,< I bet they had people leading the way down the freeway again today.
*sighs* Okay...I'm done complaining about the whether...at least it's not snowing (though it has been icy in the mornings). *huggles
lucidscreamer as she thinks of how miserably cold it is where she is*
